Here at Etheridge Construction, we like to give a little something back. Over the years, we have been involved in a large number of sponsorship's, charity events and one off occasions to help raise money for what we feel are worthy causes.
A good customer of our once told me about his daughter wanting to help the people of Malawi by helping them build some facilities. Her drive, motivation and willingness to help has become a reality and building work is currently under way with the £10,000 funds rasied to help these under priviledged people. This is a letter we received recently from them:
'Dear Steven
My daughter and I would like to thank you and Etheridge Construction for all the help and support you have given us over the past two years. What started as a school visit to help under privileged children has now grown into a building project for a dormitory, shower block and sleeping facilities. Out of all local businesses, no one has supported our cause more than you. Endlessly donating and never turning us away when we need help or advice. Steven, you're always available to help and give advice when required with no questions asked. We feel you and your company are now a massive part of this project and felt it was about time we gave something in return. Yes a letter is not a great thing but we wanted to let you know how you have helped change the lives of hundreds of under privileged families and your continued support has surpassed all our expectations.
Now you have read this believe me, these guys are real, genuine people who do care. Any work you require doing give these guys a ring. Top class company.
Once again we can’t thank you enough for your help, support and generosity.
Yours sincerely,
Neil and Antonia Armstrong
Etheridge Construction supported Paul from the day he started. Paul had a vision and dream of helping young kids, through football, to grow up and be respectful, understand team work and that hard work will get you everywhere in life. This started off as a part time job for Paul, training kids on evenings and weekends around his full time job. Now, it is Paul's full time job meaning he is doing what he loves every day and the kids he trains are lucky to have such a caring coach at their side. Keep up the great work Paul. You deserve every success.
Felling Warriors are a well established boxing club with over 23 years working with the local community in Gateshead. They are a highly recommended fitness and fight orientated gym offering, ABA Boxing, Muay Thai + K1, Kick Boxing and the fastest growing sport in the world, Mixed Martial Arts.
Currently at Felling Warriors, they are undergoing a refurbishment as part of the Warrior Projects Initiative. Etheridge Construction have donated the supply and installation of new windows to the building and continue to support them as the refurbishment works continue.
Etheridge Construction are currently working with and sponsoring a number of local pool competitions as well as sponsorship for individual players trying to progress through the ranks. We all have to start somewhere and by us offering a little help where we can, will see these individuals become masters in what they do and hopefully one day see them on the big screens.
By supplying price money, organising events as well as helping with transportation, these little things can make all the difference. Good luck to all the lads involved.
